Earlier this month I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the wedding of 2 of my friends from Iowa State. Alyssa was a photographer of mine while I was photo editor of the Iowa State Daily and Ethos Magazine and Ward was the Editor in Chief of Ethos. I was more than excited when I found out that these two fell in love.
They have known each other for almost their entire lives and it’s just a fantastic story of love in my opinion. Their wedding was a fantastic event, starting at St. Ambrose in downtown Des Moines and finishing up at The Temple of Performing Arts. Both locations were gorgeous, it was my first opportunity to shoot in the Temple and was pleasantly surprised with the environment.
